Visualization is a practice that you can use to achieve your goals faster than ever before.
Visualization is not hocus pocus or voodoo magic, it doesn’t require any special training and you don’t have to be a “believer” of anything for this technique to work for you.
How does it work? When we visualize something in our minds, it causes the same neurological effects in your body as actually doing it. What this means is that when you visualize yourself succeeding or achieving a goal, that visualization causes real physical effects on your subconscious mind.
For example, if you spend 10-15 minutes visualizing yourself rock climbing, you’ll feel the same surge of endorphins and adrenaline as if you actually went rock climbing.
So, now that you have been introduced to visualization, let’s get started on using it to improve your life!
STEP 1: Identify Your Goals What are your goals? There is no way you can improve yourself if you don’t know what it is that you want.
STEP 2: Visualize Your Goals Now that you have identified your goals, it is time to visualize them. On a daily basis, spend 10-15 minutes visualizing yourself achieving your goals and how it will make you feel when you accomplish them.
STEP 3: Take Action and Improve. If you put in the time and effort to visualize your goals and take action towards achieving them (no matter how small), you will achieve your goals much faster than ever before.
