A big key to success with The Law of Attraction is starting with an open mind. If you have tried methods to influence it and you have not experienced evidence that your efforts are paying off, it might be hard to start with an open mind. However, just give it a try. You will succeed this time and you will soon be a true believer.
START WITH AN OPEN MIND. Your overall success is based mainly on the image that you hold of yourself.
Learning the psychology of self can mean the difference in failure or success, negativity or positivity, and getting the life you want versus struggling to get by. Discovering your real self can rescue you from financial distress, turn a failing relationship into a loving one and create vibrant health. It can also turn a life of depression and hopelessness into one of exhilaration.
Discovering your real self can change your life from negative habitual behavior into one of real freedom. Learning about your real self is the first step in taking control and gaining confidence and power to create what we want from life. We each carry a picture of ourselves and it is perfectly able to be altered. It is easily changed if it doesn’t suit the image we want to hold of ourselves. A new picture can be created that lines up with our desires.
TO BUILD A GOOD SELF-IMAGE START BY REMINDING YOURSELF THAT YOU ARE A SPIRIT WITH A BODY ATTACHED AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. ALSO, THAT SPIRIT IS PERFECT. Life, of course won’t be perfect and you won’t do everything perfectly. However, start with knowing you are first and foremost a perfect spirit.
DITCH THE FALSE “EVIDENCE” THAT CREATED ANY NEGATIVITY ABOUT YOUR SELF-IMAGE. Our self image is built upon beliefs about ourselves that have unconsciously been formed from our past experiences, our successes and failures and our discomforts.
Also, the way others treated us (especially when we were children). Also, what we were told by those around us builds our image of ourselves. Once an idea about ourselves goes into our subconscious, it becomes “truth.” We don’t question it but rather we act it out in our life. That self-image then controls what can and can’t be accomplished.
All actions, feelings and capabilities are consistent with our current self-image. You cannot act differently than your internal self-image dictates without evaluating it and taking steps to alter it. A person who identifies himself as poverty stricken will remain poor despite all intentions to the contrary. One who sees himself as a victim will always find circumstances to support that image. One who is always saying they are sick will find themselves without any remedy for what ails them. This applies to all subjects including weight loss, loneliness, bad luck, etc.
Experiences and manifestations have no choice but to verify and strengthen our self-image. Whatever a person deems difficult in their life, outward conditions are likely providing continuous evidence of the truth of the image. Whatever a person believes and announces that is easy and effortless and painless for them will continue to be proven to be true by the Universe.
IDENTIFY AND ELIMINATE THOSE INNER OBSTACLES STANDING IN THE WAY OF A GOOD SELF-IMAGE. What you attract into your life is based on concealed paths of thought.
These paths of thoughts, once uncovered, can be changed. Then they will provide vastly different results in your life.
The self-image has the ability to be changed once you reach the root of the discomfort. One of the reasons it is so difficult for a person to change their reality is because of where you focus. People spend all of their time trying to manipulate and control circumstances on the exterior rather than going inward. Looking inside, you can find the root of the poor self-image and change it. The true power of manifestation and of creating whatever you want your life to be lies inside of you.
Within the cells of your body lies the memory of who you are. You get all new cells every few years. Memory gets passed on to new cells (your looks and behavior). You have a choice and you can choose to be different. You will need to create a new, empowering memory for your cells to work with. With choice comes change and with change comes measurable transformation. You don’t have to be the same person you have been if it doesn’t serve you.
You can write a new script for your cells to act out.
By changing the instructions for your cells, you alter the makeup of your cells and your physical body. Each cell is a transmitter that transmits signals according to the instructions given to it. This is how they communicate to their own network as well as to the outside world. With new instructions and a new self-image your cells can send new signals. These signals will attract what you truly want in life right now for yourself. The cells will draw new circumstances to you that validate and match your new image for yourself.
You will need to learn how to communicate effectively with your subconscious mind who will give new instructions to your cells. You need to tell your subconscious mind how you want to feel, think and behave. This will replace the old self-damaging and negative self-image. A well- formed goal is one that is stated in a particularly appealing way to the subconscious mind. It is communicated in a language that this portion of the mind speaks and understands. It does not speak any verbal form of language. You can’t just tell yourself you don’t want certain responses, behavior or negative imagery of yourself anymore and hope that you can change that way.
You tell yourself what you want in a language the subconscious understands. Here is the key.

THE SECRET TO A NEW SELF-IMAGE HOW TO REPROGRAM YOUR MENTAL SELF IMAGE
Self-image is built most often from early childhood. You will continue to play out this image until you alter the script which alters the instructions for the subconscious mind. You can alter your script to the subconscious mind and thus to your cells with the following steps.
Decide what kind of image you would like to hold now (healthy, successful, confident, prosperous, etc.). Find pictures of things you want and people who have the qualities you want. Get detailed in your descriptions.
Choose a concept that has been challenging for you. For example, in the old script you may not have been able to start that business you have dreamed about. Decide how you want to change your self image. Do you want more confidence? Stronger faith? More positivity?
Create a mental play. Close your eyes and take the director’s seat in your mind. As the director, you will be directing the actors and the scene. You are totally in charge. It is up to you to make sure you get your intended message to the audience.
With your eyes still closed, direct your eyes to your upper right where your personal scene will unfold.
Continue with your eyes closed and direct your eyes to the upper right. Construct a vivid, sensory rich scene in which an actor of your choice is playing you magnificently with the new self image. For instance, the new you is working on work that he loves in his own business from his beautiful, comfortable home. Gentle breezes drift in from the ocean and the fragrant flowers fill the air with beautiful scents. The birds are singing and the sun is shining.
The new you says, “I’m so grateful to be here. This is the life I was meant to live. This is who I really am.”
Notice the actors posture, clothes, gestures
Replay the scene over and over. Continue with your eyes closed and your gaze is to the upper right.
When you feel totally confident that the actor has the scene perfect, float up and into the body of the actor playing you. You have now replaced the actor with you.
Step fully into the experience and be the actor fully in the experience. Feel how amazingly good it feels to behave with the new self image in an easy, effortless comfortable way.
Continue to rehearse the scene until it feels that you are performing the behavior naturally. Spend 10 minutes once or twice a day. Every time you run through it you are giving your subconscious mind a new command. You are telling it how you want it to respond regarding your new self- image. Your subconscious will pass the information to the cells so they can emit the new signal.
THE KEY TO MAKING THIS WORK IS TO CREATE A VIVID, DETAILED, SENSORY, COMPELLING EXPERIENCE OF WHAT IT IS LIKE TO EXPERIENCE YOUR ULTIMATE OUTCOME. THEN TO FEEL HOW GOOD IT FEELS.
This is what you have been doing in the past, most likely unconsciously to effectively program your self image. With your poor self image that you did not purposefully create, you have in the past allowed negative thoughts and worry. When feelings came up that were uncomfortable about how you don’t have something you want, you spent a large amount of time thinking about what you don’t have. You created a vivid, sensory, detailed experience mentally of what could go wrong or about what you want and don’t have and then you stepped into the experience. You then experienced the outcome as though it were happening right now. This created more of what you don’t want.
Now you know from this point forward that you can create your behavior and image in a positive and purposeful and directed way.
You can create your behavior and image in a way that is designed to produce the states, signals and circumstances and behaviors you want in life rather than what you don’t want.
This exercise, when practiced diligently will change the subconscious program in your mind and will work with the law of attraction to create a new self-image.

BACK TO STARTING WITH AN OPEN MIND
It might be necessary to loosen your attachment to goals you have set in the past and start with an open mind this time.
It is possible that past goal setting has been influenced by other people or circumstances. Start with an open mind and follow the LAW OF ATTRACTION SECRETS below. You may have totally different results that might surprise and delight you.
Practice meditating (sitting quietly while paying attention to your natural breath). This is the first step. It is so simple you might be tempted to skip it. Don’t! It is critical to success.
After meditating (even for a few minutes) write down whatever you love and appreciate about your life now. Then list whatever you think you want to be, to do or to have right now. The reason you write what you love first is because it’s a good place to start building your list of how you want your life to be.
After you have listed all you can think of that you would like to attract right now into your life, go back to that list and write how you will feel once you have each item. Then take each feeling and find something that exists in your physical reality right now that gives you that same feeling. You want to focus on what you have now and you want to feel those feelings before your future desires manifest. What you are doing is increasing your vibrations and lining up with what you want. It is a powerful way to get The Law of Attraction to work quickly for you.
Now start to lean in the direction of fun in your life while the Universe works on making your dreams come true. Set an intention for yourself and write it down that declares,
“I WANT TO FEEL GOOD.” This should be repeated in your mind and out loud often during your day.
Whenever you start to tap that Facebook button ask yourself if you are likely to make yourself feel good or bad by doing that. The same is true for calling someone or hanging out somewhere or many other choices we make all day. Just ask yourself if this is likely to make you feel good or not. If not, choose another direction, another thing to do, another thing to think about, another way to spend your time.
By continuing to lean in the direction of things that make you feel good (naturally) you will be keeping your vibrations high. You will be connecting with your heart’s desires and creating the life of your dreams.
INTUITION (Your powerful, secret inner power)
When you start to practice meditating and you begin to make lists of intentions, you will start to notice something. Certain people, animals, signals, and signs will be drawn to you. Listen and feel your way with them. We humans love to be in control of everything. However, the irony is that we are more in control of our dreams coming true when we let go. We are more in control when we stop figuring out every detail.
TRY USING INTUITION INSTEAD OF DATA DRIVEN DECISIONS A FEW TIMES AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS! YOU WILL PROBABLY FIND YOU HAVE MUCH LESS STRESS MAKING DECISIONS. AND I KNOW THE RESULTS WILL AMAZE AND SURPRISE YOU!
Stay in touch with your intuition. Trust your intuition enough to follow it when decisions are made. You will discover that it helps your self-image tremendously. You will know that you have inner guidance and this goes a long way to building self-confidence and a good self-image.
